Designer Buki Ade is changing the fashion industry through her culturally inclusive designs. She was inspired to start a swimwear line after realising that the industry lacked creativity and representation of African designers. I was inspired to create a digital experience that represents Bfyns bold, eccentric, cohesive and consistent brand image. Bfyne is all about creating super-sexy, flattering designs with awesome colors & prints. I wanted to incorporate this language across the site by. The use of bold typography is consistent with the brands unapologetic tribute to women’s curves and confidence, with purposely-cut lines and strategically placed seams, make even the most boyish figure alluring.
